We are starting off the season with 12 teams on Monday, 12 on Wednesday and 12 on Thursday nights.
Tuesday Mens has had a drop down to 6 teams.
This results in a net loss of 2 teams from last season for the Mens leagues, after movement of teams between nights as well as the usual additions and deletions.
All nights will continue to have A&B groupings for seasonal points standing purposes.
Mens Monday and Wednesday night leagues will be scheduled on the early draw, the same as last year.
Thursday will continue to be on alternate early and late draws opposite the Thursday Business Girls league.
It looks like Tuesday Business Girls and Tuesday Mens can fit into one draw so we will start the season with the two leagues sharing the early draw each Tuesday.

The draws for the first round of curling for the Mens Leagues are now available on our website.
The first games for each league are as follows :
Tuesday teams -  October 11th.

> For The Love Of Curling Scholarships   (posted June 1, 2016)

The following announcement was received from Curling Canada :
.... Thanks to the incredible generosity of curlers across Canada,10 scholarships are available again for young men and women pursuing their academic and athletic goals at university or college. The application deadline is June 30, so there is lots of time to apply.
This year, the scholarship program helped young curlers like Janique Leblan, who went on to win gold with Team Nova Scotia at the 2016 World Juniors.
All of the recipients were able to accomplish amazing things, on and off the ice. But it is only thanks to the generous donors who gave at the 2015 golf tournament; the sweeps of the crowd at the championship events; the online auctions; and to the direct mail appeals that these scholarships are available. We are very grateful for everyone’s support as are the students!
Last year we had over 60 applications from all across Canada. The caliber of students was unbelievable. It is wonderful to know both our sport and country are in such good hands!
Please click on :  http://www.curling.ca/scholarship2016 for more information and the application process.
